The Duchess of Edinburgh Visits Kyiv
Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh and the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska pose as they visit the Saint Sophia Cathedral on 29 April 2024 in Kyiv. The Duchess of Edinburgh becomes first Royal to visit Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion. The visit, to demonstrate solidarity with the women, men and children impacted by the war, is a continuation of her work to champion survivors of conflict related sexual violence.
