Queen Margrethe II Attends Memorial Service
Queen Margrethe II of Denmark during the memorial service at Copenhagen Cathedral on the occasion of the centennial year for reunification of southern Denmark on January 12, 2020 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The reunification ceremony takes place July 10-11. The southern part of Denmark, Sønderjylland, was German from 1864 to 1920 and became Danish again after a referendum in 1920.
