Queen Margrethe II of Denmark presents the HC Ørsted Gold Medal to Charles Marcus at the New Carlsberg Glyptotek on 27 November 2020 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The HC Ørsted Gold Medal is awarded for outstanding scientific work in the fields of physics and chemistry and is awarded by the Society for the Propagation of Natural Science in collaboration with the Royal Danish Society of Sciences.
