The King and Queen of the Belgians and the Italian President Visit the Bois du Cazier
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium accompany the visiting Italian President Sergio Mattarella and his daughter Laura Mattarella for a visit to the Bois du Cazier, an industrial heritage site today and pay homage to Italian labourers perished in a mining disaster in 1956, on 21 October 2025 in Charleroi, Belgium.
The royal couple and the Italian president also visited the Royal Library.
