Prince Fumihito, Prince Akishino and Kiko, Princess Akishino attend Rikkoshi Senmei no Gi (立皇嗣宣明の儀, “Declaration Ceremony of the First in Line to the Throne), the central ceremony of Rikkoshi no Rei (立皇嗣の礼, “Rite to Proclaim the First in Line to the Throne”), at the Matsu no Ma Stateroom of the Imperial Palace on 8 November 2020 in Tokyo, Palace. The rite had been postponed for seven months due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
